Im from the carribean but of east indian decent, and we make curries very different, mainly using jeera & no milk so its pritty healthier. Living in london some of my friends are indian/pakistani, therefore had introduced me to fabulous asian cooking…nd its amazing!

    This is a mild curry. All of our recipes have chilies (red or green) to taste so you can definitely adjust it to your level.

    The evaporated milk does make this slightly sweet (even though there is no sugar in it). If you wanted, you could add about a tsp of sugar to the milk or the yogurt to make it more sweet.

    I love vegetable korma. i have only liked it at this one restaurant. I want to recreate it. It had a very mild and sweet taste and i was wondering where that sweet taste might have come from. Coconut milk? The color and consistency looked the same as yours. I wonder if they used yogurt with sugar?
