I just happened to come across this video. Thought I’d give it a try since I had the ingredients on hand. I was floored because this came out so delicious that it knocked me over! It reminds me of a Mexican dish my mom used to make called “calabasitas”. I didn’t have fresh parsely so I subsituted with fresh spinach and used dried parsely flakes. I cannot wait for my husband to try it! Great video too! I am looking foward to trying your other recipes!

You can omit the chickpeas, and add hamburger or chicken or any other meat you might like. Again if you want you can also just leave the beans out.

Well, go get me! I love learning about language and especially love learning about food. Who’d have thought? I wonder where the “chilled” aspect comes into play, because I’ve only ever eaten it warm, hot, or room temp. Maybe it was originally served chilled? Hmm. Thanks so much for the clarification, You are a superstar!
