    Yes, you can cook the channa without a pressure cooker, but it takes a lot longer (approx 1 and a half hours – just an estimation).

    Regular black tea …
    Regular black tea bags will do. If you don’t want the caffeine, you can even use decaffeinated tea bags. They are used mainly for the rich dark color.
