got what backwards? i just showed proof of someone thriving on all meat diet for years. show me someone that even survived on all fruit diet. u got it backwards.
you got it …
you got it backwords.
google it if you don’t belive
Vilhjalmur …
Vilhjalmur Stefansson lived for years on an exclusively meat diet. but there are no cases on record of anyone living for any significant period on all fruit diet.
“you dont have to …
“you dont have to take vitamins if you eat right”
Exactly. Every vegan has to take vitamin supplements.
how do you know …
how do you know they wouldn’t have lived to a hundred if they were vegans?
you dont have to …
you dont have to take vitamins if you eat right, and you can do your part to reduce the number of domesticated livestock which is in the millions
I’m vegan, but I …
I’m vegan, but I cannot support this video- there is so much incorrect information in it that it compromises the integrity of the whole movement ;(
I like this video = …
I like this video =) well done. I’m the most healthy person ever, all because I’m vegan and have been for 3 years, my arthritis, anemia, and other health problems have gone away because I stopped consuming meat and I don’t even have to take “pills” or other things to get my nutrients, that’s all misconception. I just eat a lot of veggies and fruit and Im as healthy as can be!
Ah, …
Ah, misunderstanding. That article just says that people were to live up to 150 if there was no all those diseases, and if we would consume tons of medications. I said that without all the modern medicine rare would be to live up to forties.
Actually, deer and …
Actually, deer and pigs have been known to do that.
And here, its from TIME.
time(dot) com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,804444,00.html
if everyone stopped …
if everyone stopped eating meat thenn we would be overpopulated & wouldnt have enough room for thee animals to stay…my cousin in vegetarian & she had to take these pills like everydayy which i think is stupidd our body needs vitamins, nutritions & all thee other stuff so i think we kill animals cos its part of the course though life.. thousand years ago people killed anaimals & not everyone is gonna be vegan/vegetarian so tht means we still will kill themm so idk…:/
So you two are …
So you two are saying that cows and chicken would be mating and breeding all over the place if people wouldn’t kill them? xD
And would you pretty please provide me the link to the source, or the name of the book/research about the 150 years theory?
Ummm Australians do …
Ummm Australians do eat kangaroos and they can only thrive in Australia. And pandas dont really mate that much. Which is why they’re endangered.
“people are designed to die before their forties”
Actually, scientists have learned that humans should be living to be 150 years old.
“People of India suffer from malnutrition because they’re POOR and can’t afford food”
And not to mention that they can’t GROW the same food you get from grocery stores.
Kangaroos and …
Kangaroos and Pandas are not worldwide animals like chickens, cattle and swine. They are indigenous to a certain region and their breeding habits differ. And just FYI, my mother and plenty of others relatives of mine lived to be 90 plus yrs old and ate meat all of their lives with no major health issues. And to be honest I prefer not to take most medicines, I prefer natural homeopathic remedies.
But humans are …
But humans are omnivores, which means we eat both Autotroph, and other Heterotroph.
Do I have to …
Do I have to ing kill myself, or do you allow me just to kill myself?
How come kangaroos …
How come kangaroos are not over populating? Or pandas? We don’t kill them, and we don’t eat them. People of India suffer from malnutrition because they’re POOR and can’t afford food, not because they’re not allowed to eat cows.
Natural course of life? Then why do you use medication when you’re sick? It’s not “natural course”, people are designed to die before their forties.
I agree humans were …
I agree humans were made to think, so why don’t you use the mind you were given to understand the natural course of life and the food chain? Have you ever been to India where cows are considered sacred? Thousands walk the streets freely while a good percentage of the people suffer from malnutrition. If we all stopped eating meat we would without a doubt start having to kill animals just to keep them from over populating.
Vegans are ! …
Vegans are !!!!! I’m an omnivoreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
if you hate the …
if you hate the ways of human beings so much go and ing kill yourself
If we didn’t eat …
If we didn’t eat meat, we wouldn’t raise the animals on factory farms -.- How would world be overpopulated if we wouldn’t raise them at all -.- And FYI, MORE plants are being killed for feeding the animals people use for food later than just for humans to eat -.- And humans also have the brain, which is solid proof they were designed to think, and yet some people don’t think at all.
BTW, the article I …
BTW, the article I posted was by someone who did the vegan diet himself to see if it really was “natural” and figured out it isn’t natural if you have to take supplement pills. Those “terribly frightening things” are true. Just because you didn’t have any of them, doesn’t mean no one else will. Everyone is individually different.
P!nk was also …
P!nk was also wronged by PETA when they gave her wrong information just so they can use her for their own selfish reasons.
Humans will always kill.
John Robbins, …
John Robbins, author of many books including “The Food Revolution”, shares a powerful story of the time he met the owner of a pig factory farm where there’s a change of heart and a good ending. To read the story, please go to: foodrevolution (dot) org / pig _ farmer (dot) htm
we are on natures …
we are on natures food chain, proven by the fact that if given the chance we will fall prey to other animals, factory farms may be bad BUT not all farms are factory farms, plus only 16% of methane emissions are created by livestock farms and it’s getting smaller, a bigger piece is garbage dumps, higher above that HUMAN waste treatment plants all of which will do more for the environment if addressed than JUST going vegan
This was novel. I wish I could read every post, but i have to go back to work now… But I’ll return.
I find it interesting that many of the people who commented with opposite thoughts and opinions, did so in such a judgemental and authoritive manner.
Does anyone know how much this is?
