    This is a good …
This is a good point: I am a big burly guy and part time vegetarian for several reasons:
    1) Health benefits of decreasing animal fat and eating more vegetables. Vegetables with every meal.
    2) Industrialization of meat (esp beef) IMO is bad on a lot of levels- Deforestation, animal cruelty, contributing to poverty, energy consumption.
    3) I can eat more volume of vegetarian food for fewer calories (usually) than I can with animal or highly processed foodstuffs.
    Thanks for the recipe!

    No, being vegan
No, being vegan doesn’t usually have anything to do with liking the taste of meat or not. There are many reasons to be vegan, from the health benefits to animal rights to the environment.

From a health standpoint here, this spread has no cholesterol, is high in omega 3 fatty acids and won’t clog your arteries like traditional pate will. Plus, it tastes great!
