Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is excellent blog. A fantastic read. I'll certainly be back.

Legumes are so important in a vegan diet! I would be constantly hungry without them!

"The Mad Cowboy" provides good motivation to go pure vegan, if disgusting factory farm processing practices and diseases are a motivator. If you want to avoid the most common health conditions and need scientific research to back it, I'd also look at T. Colin Campbell (for dairy) or Dr. Dean Ornish or Dr. McDougall.

To stay on a diet, you should plan on eating three main meals with legumes and whole grains. I personally like to avoid soy beans, corn, and wheat to avoid the genetically modified foods in the US along with the gluten in wheat. Read about a CFGF diet so that you can avoid some common allergies and intolerances.

I lost 50 pounds and kept it off by simply choosing to eat a pure vegetarian diet. My blood work is now near perfect. I'm confident that yours well be after you make the change.
References :
Eggs and milk are cruel! Chickens and cows are not really free range like they say. They're lies to make the consumers think animals are living happy lives when they're actually cramped in cages. A cow must be made pregnant in order to produce milk, and what do they do with the calf? They kill it and use it for veal (meat from baby calves that are only a few days old).
Eat soy cheese and drink soy milk. Choose compassion over killing.

Its worth it.
References :
vegan

I'm not trying to be rude, but if you don't feel motivated to become a vegan, what is the problem?

If you became ill when you where a vegan for the first time, then you didn't get proper nutrition. You can solve that if you plan your diet better. If you're into cheese and egg products, most of them can probably be made vegan.

Read websites, studies and books about veganism to find reasons to why it could be a good idea if you're thinking about it. In the end, though, it's your choice to make. But it's always good to be well informed before you make such a big choice.
References :
By your question it sounds more like you are looking for "Motivation to NOT go vegan" Like you are fishing for us to hold your hand and tell you it's okay, eat what you want to make you feel better, Just one person could never make a difference so don't worry about.. **Hugs**

Vegetarian do it for health reasons
Vegans do it for Moral reasons and the health is just a big plus.

I think you should stick to be a vegetarian cuz your heart is not really in it to be Vegan
References :
If your health deteriorated than it seems like you weren't replenishing those nutrients you were losing by cutting out dairy. I'm almost to my one year mark and I have never felt better in my life but I am a freak about making sure I get the proper nutrition everyday. Also if you don't have the motivation than maybe you should just hold off until you feel the time is right. Being vegetarian is something I wanted to do since I was 15 and I didn't make the full step into it until I was 19. I went full on and cut dairy and meat at the same time and it was pretty easy for me but I had done a lot of research on the benefits and complications that can arise from both healthy/unhealthy plant based diet. I personally did not do it because of the welfare of animals I made the decision about myself, my own body, my own health and well being. I think you should be true to yourself before you worry about saving animals because honestly I don't think you directly are saving any animals by eating dairy or not eating dairy.

Good luck!
References :
You have to think of your own health first. Has just this change caused your health to deteriorate? Perhaps, you need a good medical check up. You can also get a referral to speak to a dietician. They can calcutlate your protein vs. carbs, etc. To make sure you meet all your dietary requirements for your height/weight/activity and age.
References :
Don't force yourself in being a vegan, your health is more important than not eating eggs and dairy. No animals are killed or tortured by having cheese and egg products.
