I just recently became a vegetarian and I don’t really know what I should eat to maintain my new diet. It’s hard to figure it out all by myself. I still live with my family until I go to college in the fall, and the all eat meat! HELP PLEASE!
I have been a lacto ovo veggie for the last 5 years. I have learned that it is easiest to get essential nutrients from vitamins. Even with eating a wide variety of foods there is no way that I can get enough vitamins. The biggest issue i have ran into is a lack of iron. Iron is mostly obtained through meat, but beans nuts and some veggies contain it as well. (fortified cereal too). Then there is B12 which if you eat dairy you shouldn’t have too much of a problem. Protein will become more difficuly but if you incorporate nuts or beans into you daily life you should be fine. Milk and eggs also will do the trick. Honestly, after a while you don’t even have to think about not eating meat. You just don’t eat it. You can oder anything off any menu and ask for it without the meat. Though I don’t recomend asking for a steak without meat, but you get the picture. In the last 5 years the only real difficulty I have ran into is my boyfriends parents who absolutely do not approve of me not eating meat. Or at least that’s how they seem to me.
As for the meat cravings they will go away after a few weeks, somtimes months but the point is that they do go away. I promise. You gotta just jump in a do it!

- Where can i buy papayamine protein

Get Papayamine. It is a great protein supplement without whey (which is made from dairy), soy or pea (both of which can cause bloating and gas.
Papayamine is made from papaya so it is fruit based protein. Go to papayamine.com and try it. You can get capsules or a shake mix. With the shake drink I put it in either soy milk or in one of my fruit juices.
