Where can I find books about animal rights?

I live in Portland OR and I have to find a book on animal rights soon.

Try this one by the philosopher, Peter Singer (see link below). I believe it has just been republished.

There is also a book by Temple Grandin who has worked on the issue of human slaughter as a consultant to the beef industry. Although this isn’t so much a book on ethical philosophy as a book about her personal experiences. "Animals Make Us Human: Creating the Best life for Animals."
