I am not sure on who to vote for in the uk elections this year. I want to vote for a party who care the most about animal welfare. I know this is the green party but I think that would be a waste of a vote because i really doubt they will win. It’s really out of Labour and Conservatives but I don’t have a clue on what they say about animal rights. Can anyone help x
Why not do a bit of research into the individual candidates to find the most animal friendly one in your constituency. I contacted my MP regarding fox hunting a few years ago – he opposed it and was very supportive and very helpful and kept me up to date with what was going on. Shame I hadn’t actually voted for him! ;-$
Otherwise I think we just have to keep our voices heard for the animals because none of the parties actually gives two hoots.
I don’t think there are any parties that we have that believe in animal rights at all.
They simply don’t have it.
Best you can do is vote for a party with good environment policies, like Green and the Lib dems.
Switzerland are the only country to have even attempted to establish animal rights.

Whatever you do please do not vote conservative. David Cameron plans to repeal the ban on hunting with hounds if he gains a majority. This cannot be allowed to happen! There are no grounds for a repeal. 77 % of the public, from all social classes, oppose hunting with hounds as a cruel, perverse and outdated past time. Living in a democracy means accepting the majority vote and the legal, cruelty-free, alternative of drag hunting.
You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
