I’m so pleased this proposition passed. The law takes effect in 2015. In the meantime, perhaps people will purchase their eggs and meat from family farms with humane conditions. Yes, you’ll pay a little more, but you won’t be giving money to factory farms which are inhumane. You voted with your hearts. Now “vote” with your pocketbook.

Animals eat other animals, and us as humans do the same. We are also animals who choose to live either vegetarian, carniverous, or omnivorous. Happy prop 2 passed, since animals shouldn’t suffer at all. Life and death are a way of life itself, not torure. So if u want to be vegetarian, go for it, u want to eat meat, go for it. Just remember that eating animals is the way of nature.
