My veiw point is that humans are animals who are omnivoric. As omnivores, we are filling our place in the ecosystem by eating both plants and animals.
On that note, I do not eat certian species because I veiw them as too advanced to justify our supiriority to eat them. As a rule I do not eat anything from the Orders Primate, Proboscidea, Accipitriformes, Carnivora, or Cetacea, as well as several other specific species.

plants are alive too. and the fact that some vegans are willing to kill insects proves that on some level, we have arranged in our head some heirachary of life. we care most about the mammals because they have large brains, but when it comes to bugs, no one really seems them persons. no one thinks of a plant as a person. I just happen to draw my line at sentient/self aware. humans are sentient, most other animals are not (although a few are up for debate)

As far as I know, these are the best reasons not to eat fish:
-don’t kill animals for food
-ecology and environment protection (the oceans are overexploited by fisheries. IF/WHEN we properly manage fisheries, this point is gone)
-health and toxins (e.g. mercury. But you can pick your species carefully to avoid Hg).
that’s all i know. if none of those appeal to you, eat fish.
maybe I should have been more specific about domesticated/farmed/unsustainably harvested animal protein.

to be honest mate this aint a fair duel, i know snippets of information that i could research and expand on to prove a point, but the truth is i just don’t have the passion to do so, i disagree with you. I do have a problem with dentists pulling teeth however without making sure the patients mouth will be structurally unchanged, there is evidence to suggest that this can cause mild to sever health problems, mental and physical, i think all dentists need to look into it, they’d be surprised.

You can’t legitimately argue human evolution with me. You can’t make a case that your diet is healthier than mine, and you haven’t made any progress to show that eating meat isn’t unethical – IT IS UNETHICAL. Unnecessary suffering is about as close to absolute morality as you can ever get. And if you claim that the non-human creatures you are eating are “just animals”, well, congratulations, that’s Auschwitz.
I think the most important thing we need to keep in mind is how our food is processed, and if the animals that we use for food are being mistreated. No one thinks animal cruelty is good, and I think the vegetarian movement helps give some publicity to this, giving the public more awareness.
Do not cash to buy a house? Worry no more, just because that’s available to take the business loans to solve such kind of problems. Hence get a car loan to buy everything you require.
